About the Club
Current Chairperson, Alastair Brookes, established the Dundee Darts Academy in the autumn of 2024. The academy began through word of mouth with a membership of approximately 20 children. Initially situated within the Black Watch social club, we have relocated to the Dundee Social club for the present. Our aspiration is to have our own location which will allow us to fully set down roots and ensure a sustainable future for the academy. Demand for places grew at an incredible pace and the academy currently has a membership of approximately 75 children.
Our overarching goal is- To foster a supportive, inclusive environment where young people of all abilities can learn, enjoy, and progress in the sport of darts — from beginner to elite level — while promoting mental wellbeing and personal development.
